I love this song, Victor! There's a song (also from the 60s) by Bread which speaks to me spiritually like this song, too. And, Baroque music does for me, as well. Funny how music can touch your soul so deeply.
Did you know The Seekers were Australian, Victor? The lead singer had such a beautiful voice, don't you think?

Hi Vicky,
ReplyDeleteYes, I knew they were Australian. The lead singer was Judith Durham. I played The Seekers frequently on ym Rdaio programs.
Let me know the song from Bread. If the lyrics fit, I'll try to make it into a video like this one. I remember their: Everything I own.
God bless.
Wow ... bad typing. That should have read: my Radio ...
ReplyDeleteAnyway ... (thinks) all the talent seems to be in Australia ... The Seekers, Rolf Harris, Dame Edna Everidge, you and Sue.
God bless.
Yes! That's the song, Victor - it's so beautiful. Some of the lyrics aren't quite adaptable to the spiritual but I think that they mostly are.
ReplyDeleteYou like Dame Edna Everidge? I thought the rest of the world was glad she didn't belong to them!
God bless, Victor:-)
BTW, I'm working on your cartoons, today:-)
I'll check the lyrics out and see if they fit a religious video.
ReplyDeleteDame Edna is an acquired taste. Rolf Harris though seems to have made a great success over here in the UK.
Thanx for the cartoons.
God bless.
